Maribett Varner

You might say marketing is just in her blood. Granddaughter of an agency owner, Maribett Varner has spent more than 25 years in the industry. And when it comes to BKV, she’s passionate about two things in particular: Multi-faceted, integrated accounts with interesting challenges, and seeing the adaptation of new media and tactics into the “response generating” discipline of marketing.

She doesn’t restrict herself to one area of expertise; rather, Maribett has the rare ability to see every client, every campaign, every challenge with holistic vision. (And remember precisely why and how each one worked, down to the decimal.) The long list of major accounts on which she has worked includes the American Red Cross, Dirt Devil, Equifax, Harrah’s/Caesar’s Entertainment, AT&T, Aflac, The Home Depot, Hubzu and many more. The mom of three grown daughters, Maribett was a Russian Studies major, is an enthusiastic chef and allegedly remains undefeated at Scrabble.
